The Seedy Seeds are really, really into String Theory
Last week I made a joke about a hardcore band that will eventually just give up and name themselves “Verb the Noun.” Instead, we got a twee band named The Seedy Seeds with a song called “Verb Noun.” Hey, close enough.
The Seedy Seeds hail from Cincinnati and feature a cute girl, a real beard and an ironic beard worn by Tobias from Arrested Development. That must be a magical combination because everything I’ve heard from them so far is a feel-good gem. They don’t suffer from the thin sound that afflicts a lot of twee/indie pop groups, which adds a lot of replay value to the tracks. Must be the full beard.
