Brooklyn dream pop trio Chairlift are out with some new tunes on their second LP, Something. Apparently they’ve lost their snob credibility after appearing in an iTunes commercial but really, who gives a shit?
They’ve embraced the 80s as any self respecting dream/electro pop would, with a lot of similarities to the popular stuff Class Actress has been doing. Where Elizabeth Harper’s work may be a little too Brooklynized, Chairlift offers a much deeper, velvety experience. They don’t belong in your arms, they belong in your ears! (Awwwwww SNAP!)
