Carrousel – Darling EP

Carrousel is a Tallahassee based dream folk band who’ve just released their first public work, the Darling EP. Typically I only post one song on Electric Panda Music but this three track offering is just too good to limit. First two, 14 and (15), are beautiful dreamy pop songs that have a similar feel to Freelance Whales. Alternately, Carrousel embraces their folkier side on “Darling, You’re So Mean To Me” – which comes across as an unaggressive drinking song. Sad but hey, who hasn’t been through it?

They’re promising an LP in Feburary of 2012, and based on the fact that these three have been on repeat the last couple days I’d say expectations are high.
